Exhaust Heat Shields for Fuel Tanks


Here is a kit of items to shield the heat from the exhaust pipe to the fuel tank.The factory installed these shields to help minimize problems of overheating the fuel and vaptor lock.
The 20 gauge steel heat shielas are power coated white to minimize the heater transfer to the tank through absorption and re-radiation.these shields are like the original heat shield swhich had 3/8" bend on both sides, but I extended the upper bend, which installs over the exhaust pipe to 2" to provide additional heat isolation to the fuel tank.
